We are a small company working on very small profit margins so take great effort to list items as accurately as possible. Of course occasionally an item may be unsuitable - in which case our return policy is below
If you wish to return an item please inform us in writing (email or letter) . within 7 working days following receipt of your order. ISince all of our items are one-offs and many are sold on a sale or return basis we would be grateful if you could email us on receipt if you wish to return anything as this prevents us from removing items from the website (which makes relisting much harder).
We will reply with details via email on where to send the return as quite often we get returns sent to the post office to keep them safe. Please do not return goods before we have contacted you and before you received a returns number.
We do not usually accept returns which have not been notified to us in writing within 7 days.
Refunds are then made within 30 days. If you do not notify us within 7 days of receipt of your intention to return goods then the right to return is waived. We will keep a credit note on file for as long as you want if you don't require a refund. Return postage is at your expense. If we need to send a courier to collect the goods then this will be charged to you.
If for any reason you decide to return an item the goods must be returned unworn, with ALL tags on if a tag was attached when sold, unwashed and with no smells or defects which were not there when the item was delivered to you. We can not refund if goods arrive back here with the added bonus of smoke smell or defects that were not there before they reached you. Please return within a 7 days and we would prefer (if possible) that returns are made immediately due to the nature of the goods we sell. It is your responsibility to make sure the garment/s reach us safely and so recommend sending recorded delivery for goods under £36 and sending special delivery for goods worth more than this. This is for your protection since we do not refund until goods reach us safely
If the order was originally made from outside of the UK and Europe please take care to fill in posting documentation details correctly. Goods to the UK may incur duty charges if you fail to make it clear that the package is a "return" to the UK and not an import. In the event of documentation being completed incorrectly and tax or duty subsequently being charged to Amalaika, the sum involved will be deducted from your final refund.
Return costs must be paid by the buyer and no refund will be given for goods not returned to us
